PrivCo日前發布了2012年排名前20的科技風投企業。PrivCo是一家為私有企業提供財務分析的公司。在這份榜單中，排名第一的是Intel Capital。

緊隨其后的，分別是SV Angel、Sequoia Capital、 First Round Capital、Battery Ventures、DFJ、Greylock Partners、Ignition; Google Ventures、True Ventures、Benchmark Capital、Lerer Ventures、 Menlo Ventures、Polaris Venture Partners、 Accel Partners、Bain Capital Ventures、Redpoint Ventures、RRE Ventures以及 Focus Ventures。

這份榜單中包含了一些新一代的風投企業，例如 Felicis、SV Angel、 True Ventures和 Lerer Ventures. 這些風投機構的創始人都具有創業背景，而非傳統風投的投資和財務工作背景。PirvCo總裁Sam Hamadeh表示，這些風投機構除了能夠為創業者提供資金外，還能夠為他們提供運營方面的幫助和指導。

Hamadeh還表示，一些傳統風投并沒有能夠出現在這份榜單上，例如Kleiner、 Perkins、Caufield & Byers (KPCB)、 Lightspeed Venture Partners和New Enterprise Associate (NEA)。這也是值得注意的一點。

自20年前成立以來，Intel Capital已經擁有了超過200家IPO企業，并且他們收購的企業已將達到300家。
