Eclipse 官方正式的發布了代號為 Juno 的 Eclipse 4.2 版本。目前官網上都是在介紹 Eclipse 4.2，同時 Eclipse 也宣布將使用 Eclipse 4.2 來開發以后的 Eclipse 版本。

如果你是 Eclipse 的用戶，可以開始著手準備升級到這個版本了。

Eclipse 4.2 包含如下新項目：

• BPEL Designer, BPEL 設計工具
• Xtend, 靜態類型的面向對象語言
• Virgo,  OSGi 運行容器
• Eclipse Code Recommenders, which provides feedback in the form of a sample set of snippets using APIs
• Mylyn Intent, which allows documentation to be authored and transformed using Eclipse
• Orion, 是 Eclipse 組織推出的一款基于瀏覽器的Web開發平臺。這并不是說在瀏覽器上運行 Eclipse，而是一個完全新開發的工具集成和工作流，適合Web開發而非桌面。
• Koneki project, 包含 Lua 開發工具集合
