Mozilla的Firefox多版本并行開(kāi)發(fā)工作已經(jīng)漸入佳境，今天開(kāi)發(fā)團(tuán)隊(duì)宣布Firefox 5 Beta1發(fā)布，F(xiàn)irefox 5將于6月22日正式發(fā)布，這一時(shí)間距離Firefox 4發(fā)布僅僅相隔3個(gè)月。而版本6則要等到今年8月18日。所有對(duì)Firefox的改進(jìn)目前被存儲(chǔ)在Mozilla的中央Mercurial庫(kù)，并且將定期匯合成一個(gè)測(cè)試版本。
