Adobe Systems今天正式發布了新版多媒體創作軟件“Adobe Director 11”，擁有更富彈性、更易用的創作環境，可以讓多媒體作者、動畫師、開發人員創作更強大的交互式程序、游戲、電子學習和模擬產品。
有了Director 11，再加上Shockwave Player，用戶就可以把Flash SWF文件導入項目中，使用Director或者Shockwave播放、使用Flash CS3 Professsional編輯。此外，Director 11還支持大量的第三方插件擴展、支持Unicode編碼、支持Ageia PhysX物理引擎、支持增強型文字和原生DX9 3D渲染。
Director 11支持40多種音頻、視頻和圖形格式，并增加了對Adobe Flash 9技術和位圖過濾，為文字、圖形增加陰影和火焰效果將更加簡單。此外，Director 11還支持JavaScript和Lingo編程語言，其中后者是Director的原生腳本語言，同時提供了增強的腳本瀏覽器，可以對代碼進行拖拽操作。
Adobe Director 11英文版定于3月底上市，法語、德語和日語版則會在6月份出貨，全新購買需999美元，此前三個版本升級則需299美元，教師優惠價299美元，部分地區學生優惠價99美元。該軟件支持Windows XP SP2、Windows Vista、Mac OS X 10.4等操作系統。
